Engraving
Jane's Jewel Box is happy to personalize any piece of jewelry by engraving it for you.
We do inside ring engraving for free on any wedding band purchase and are happy to engrave
any engraveable piece of jewelry for a small additional charge (this charge varies
depending on the piece and the allotted characters).
If you choose to have an item engraved, you will be prompted during the checkout process
for your engraving instructions. Please allow an extra 1-2 business days for your item to
be engraved.
Our inside ring engraving is available in two different engraving letter styles. The first
letter style is a curved block letter and the second letter style is a straight block
letter. The letter style used is based on the overall width of the ring. If the ring
ordered is small in width, around 3.0 millimeters, the straight block letter style will
be used. If the ring ordered is 4.0 millimeters or greater, then the curved block letter
style will be used. The letter style used is determined by the overall millimeter width
of the ring. If you would like to confirm which letter style will be used on your ring,
please contact us via email. We are happy to answer your questions!
We offer engraving on anything that we sell that can be engraved. We are happy to engrave
a single initial on a signet ring or a name on a baby bracelet. Lockets look great with
engraving too! When ordering a piece that is engraveable you will be able to choose the
engraving letter style of your choice. We offer two letter styles with the one being a
script style and the other being a block style.
During the order process, you will be asked to enter your "engraving instructions" into a
text box that allows for 25 characters, which include letters and spaces. If you would
like to engrave something that has more than 25 characters, please let us know. We are happy
to help you determine if your engraving will fit on the piece that you are ordering.
Please note that many of our products descriptions briefly note how many characters that
specific piece will accommodate. If you have any questions regarding the engraving of
your piece, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Not sure what you want engraved? Deciding on what to engrave can sometimes be a difficult
task. Many people will, for example with wedding bands, engrave something like
"John and Jane 06-10-05" or "love forever 06-10-05." Frequently, people will use
nicknames or words that have special meanings between the recipient and the giver. If
you are unsure as to what you would like engraved, please give us a call. We are
happy to help you decide which is best!
Additionally, any product that is engraved is non-returnable. However, if you are unsure about
the piece that you are ordering, you may order it un-engraved to see if you like it and then
send it back to us for the engraving. If you choose this option, you will only be responsible
for any applicable engraving charges and shipping charges. We are happy to work with you!
